Our decision to participate in Music Biz 2025 — just as we did with SXSW, MUSEXPO, and MusicTech Summit — is part of a clear movement from Strm: we want to stand alongside the people building the future of the music industry. Not around the table, but at the table — with ideas, active listening, and a real commitment to transforming artists’ careers.

In Brazil, we’ve grown by building bridges between data, decision-making, and creativity. Now, we want to create these same connections in the North American market.

We know we’re entering one of the most mature and competitive markets in the world. But we’re confident in our clear differentiator: we’ve brought together everything an artist needs to advance — all in one platform.

What does being at Music Biz 2025 represent?
It’s more than showing up — it’s making it clear that we want to actively participate in the industry’s evolution. From May 12 to 15, we’ll have a private room to meet with artists, executives, investors, and leaders. But above all, we’re here to listen. That’s how we grew, and that’s how we’ll build bridges here.

What are we looking to build in the United States?
The same thing we helped build in Brazil: transparent conversations, real solutions, and growth paths for artists who don’t want to wait for a record deal to make a living from music. We believe independence is not the destination — it’s the starting point. And that artists should have access to the right tools to make decisions with freedom and intelligence.

Today, there are over 52,000 artists on our platform across different parts of the world, and more than 1,500 have a distribution contract with Strm, ranging from career stages 4 to 8. This gives us the confidence to say we’re ready to contribute to this new moment in global music.
